The Great Folle Avoine Fur Trade Rendezvous

10am – 4pm daily – Forts Folle Avoine Historical Park

The Historical Park is located near Danbury, Wisconsin on 80 beautiful wooded acres along the historic Yellow River.

Wild Rice Pancake Breakfast

  • 8:15 am – 12:30pm

​ This is a living history site with two Fur Trade Posts; North West Company and XY Company, reconstructed on the site known to be active from 1802 to 1805.​ An Ojibwe Village offers insight into Ojibwe life during the time of the fur trade. Several museums, including a logging museum and one-room schoolhouse, showcase other aspects of Wisconsin and Burnett County history.

General Admission (daily)

  • Free for Children 4 and under and for Burnett County Historical Society members
  • $28.00 Family with 2 children 5-11yo
  • $8.00 Seniors, College Students and Military (active and veterans), ID is required

General Admission including (Sundays) Wild Rice Pancake Breakfast and Self Guided Tour of Fur Posts and Ojibwe Indian Village 10am – 3pm
