Donating Art – The Postcard Art Project – Firehouse Gallery – Phoenix, AZ

Donating Art – The Postcard Art Project – Firehouse Gallery – Phoenix, AZ

The Postcard Art Project is a fundraiser and mail art show opening August 8th through September 7th at The Firehouse Gallery – Phoenix, Arizona.

The follow gallery is a glimpse at some of the handmade postcards of my original artwork that has been “snail mailed” to the show. I sincerely hope it arrives in time!

This is a Worldwide call for postcard art.

All works will be displayed and  proceeds of the postcard sales will be donated to the Firehouse Gallery so if you’re in the area show your support and grab yourself some original Austin Art!

Jimi hendrix Hero Stamp - forever stamps

Want me to send you a post card? 😀

This work is available directly from me while vending local events. I do NOT price these prints – FREE WILL Donations are currently being accepted. They fund studio equipment that will help Happy Hollow Glass further reduce waste glass. I am striving to create less NEW products with NEW materials. I have the skills to make use of glass already in existence given the proper tools. Thank you in advance for your generous support and effort to “STOMP the Plastic Habit” with Austin’s ZERO WASTE Hot Glass Studio!

Daily Horoscope: Leo

“You’re likely to have tremendous concentration that seems to have materialized out of nowhere. Use this to your advantage, Leo, because it may not last long. You’re usually blown from one thing to another like a leaf in the wind, and it’s hard for you to settle on one project or issue for an extended time. You may have to shut a few people out in order to finish some tasks, but that’s fine. Do what you have to do.”

Complacency

Never Stop Learning….

For clarity, complacency is where you are completely content with how things are. This is not a bad thing in itself except that it leads to trouble. The most common trouble is forgetting that everything you have requires maintaining.

Failure to maintain is ceasing to exist…

These are just a few thoughts that stood out to me – ironically enough as I was researching the Klein bottle.  They are a good reference point for what I mean by my usual saying – “Don’t do Nothing!” It also covers “Never Stop Learning” pretty well.
